There’s nothing like waiting on a red carpet to interview celebrities you’ve spent days preparing to talk to, only to have the paparazzi jump into your camera shot. Red carpets have taught me so much about persistence, pivoting and VIP personality management. I've never had a “bad” interview with a celebrity, and they have bad days, too. I've spoken to more than 250 celebrities.
Most of my work was for Parade, with phoners, or carpets that I did with my two-person crew. I also interviewed notables for USA Today, Cowboys & Indians, bpHope (bipolar) magazine and others.
I've talked to Jay Leno, J. Lo, Nicole Kidman, Sharon Stone, The Doobie Brothers, Trisha Yearwood, Mario Lopez, Boy George, Terry Crews, Sir Elton John...and so many more. It's easy and natural for me.
