Now a travel and lifestyle journalist and writer, I won a Corporate Award of Merit from United Airlines. It is one of three major carriers for which I was a corporate communications pro. In that job, I wrote lots of content including feature stories about the industry and destinations, including hotels. I wrote feature articles, news releases, bios, annual report copy, and an internal newsletter. I obtained my permanent New Zealand residency in 2002, and lived there for nine years. As a travel journalist and writer Down Under, I’m an “expert” on that gorgeous part of the world.
